    Hi Mikep,

    Welcome to Dropship Forum

Have a look at the following US dropshippers of contemporary furniture & home decor products:Also have a look at the following Indonesian designer and manufacturer of contemporary furniture who you can contact about offering you a drop ship fulfillment service:To find many more verified US, Canadian and global drop shippers of contemporary furniture and home decor products, try the two largest online trade directories of verified drop ship suppliers, eSources and Worldwide Brands. Both list tens of thousands of verified wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers and drop shippers.

Have a look at the following results:

US Drop Shippers of contemporary furniture and home decor productsCanadian Drop Shippers of contemporary furniture and home decor productsGlobal Drop Shippers of contemporary furniture and home decor productsMany manufacturers of bulky products, including furniture, are willing to drop ship for international retailers. You can use sites like eSources to find and contact multiple Chinese furniture manufacturers, which you can then put in competition with one another to obtain the best prices and drop ship for you. Have a look at the following Chinese and Hong Kong furniture manufacturers:By sourcing directly from the manufacturer, you can get personally involved in the production process and express your needs and wants in terms of quality, materials used and style.

When importing furniture containing wood products to the US, usually a fumigation certificate is required to prove that the items being imported have been treated to prevent the introduction of foreign insects into the U.S. territory. Since the manufacturer drop ships on your behalf, you are officially the importer of the product. You can also visit the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website to get more details on import regulations.

Another suggestion is to visit a popular Trade Fairs like the Canton Fair in China where you can meet and build relationships with furniture suppliers in person. Though this avenue will require a significant amount of time and money, it will be worthwhile as you will have a chance to reject intermediaries and visit manufacturers personally, verify their products and labor conditions.

Also read the following threads to find more information and dropshippers:Hope this helps

    Hi,

Heaps of dropshippers can be found on this forum so you won't have any trouble with that, a few tips on importing furniture to save you money, time and headaches (from experience ) is:

    1. Ensure your dropshipper fumigated the pallets and any wooden furniture before sending it (if your dropship company is from China even better, as it's cheap there) ... If you wait until you receive it, the bill is huge to have it done in customs.

    2. Get a 3PL company to handle your logistics and warehousing problems.

So many people overlook the two points above and it ends up costing them time and money, just my two cents!
